The Kicking
Horse Grill, Golden's finest international cusine
restaurant, is situated on the banks of the Kicking
Horse River. It is perhaps the most unique building
in Golden with a storied past. Dine surrounded by
the restaurant's wonderful burled log structure and
experience the warm atmosphere that only an authentic
log building can provide.
The two owners
of the Kicking Horse Grill, Chris and Martijn, hail
from Holland and came to Golden at the start of
the new millenium. Both European, we have travelled
abroad and have brought back with us a sample of our
travel experiences in the food we create. The menu reflects
a wide international flavor and caters to many different
tastes.

created an impressive restaurant that combines a rustic,
relaxing atmosphere with the finest cuisine.

Inside the restaurant you can feel secure next to the
massive burled logs. After your meal, follow the
romantic trail along the river to a secluded beach
at the trail's end or stroll west along the river trail
and see Golden's hand built covered bridge.
